Gsteig is a mountain village located in the West part of the Canton of Bern, at the end of both the Pillon pass and the Sanetsch pass.
The Hotel/restaurant Bären is in the Gstaad Saanenland region the meeting point of locals and clients from all around the world

The Bären was constructed in 1756 in the traditional architectural style of the Saanenland region. Beautiful paintings still decor the housefront which has remained original throughout the centuries.

Our menu offers a large selection of regional and seasonal dishes. Indulge yourself with our traditional wood fire raclette. Discover our selection of cheese and fondue or simply ask for our famous trout.
We dispose of four restaurants and two terrasses with breathtaking views over the Swiss Alps.
